Kindred Spirits is a campaign launched by Kids Entertainment Professionals for Young Refugees (KEPYR) to raise awareness about the global crisis of displaced children.
Concept Sketches
Kindred Spirits illustrates the shared experiences and connections between refugee children. These initial sketches explore ways to represent that bond.
Exploration: Lighting & Backgrounds
In the first round, I experimented with different backgrounds and lighting directions to highlight the main subject.
Feedback & Refinement
After receiving feedback from the creative director, I refined the piece by adding details and exploring more variations.
Color & Light Variations
The creative director selected two favorite options, which I then rendered with color and lighting variations.
Final Concept: Leaf Pile Scene
For the final stage, I focused on the leaf pile concept, enhancing it with autumnal colors and further visual exploration.
