Marvel at San Diego Comic Con 2025
Marvel Studios returned to San Diego Comic-Con 2025 with immersive installations celebrating the Fantastic Four, transporting fans into the story with a Yancy Street recreation and cinematic moments. The space featured official costumes, branded visuals, and interactive experiences tied to The Fantastic Four: First Steps film debut.
This project was developed during my time as a contract Graphic Designer at AKJOHNSTON Agency in 2025.
Concept to Reality: 3D Booth Renders
We began with flat 2D designs, then brought the space to life in SketchUp to visualize the booth layout. The New York street facade was directly inspired by the set design of Fantastic Four: First Steps, grounding the booth in cinematic realism.
Interactive Activations: Canva & TOPPS
Fans could customize their own Fantastic Four merchandise at the Canva station, while Topps featured a side booth showcasing exclusive Marvel trading cards—adding collectible flair to the experience.
Booth in Action
Photos of the final installation, capturing the booth fully built and buzzing with activity. From walk-throughs to photo ops, the space came alive as fans explored every corner.
Fantastic Four Cosplay
Center stage featured the official Fantastic Four costumes from the upcoming film. The surrounding Times Square–inspired space became a gathering point for cosplay, photo ops, and fan celebration.
Buzz Online: Marvel's Social Coverage
Marvel’s official social channels spotlighted the booth across platforms, with fans and creators sharing the experience in real time—amplifying the activation far beyond the convention floor.
